In order for the application to function properly, the server-side and client-side communication port and the client-side IP address must be configured. The communication port must be identical on the server side and on the client side. The IP address of the server can be obtained by hovering the mouse over the SpySound icon in the taskbar. If you are equipped with ADSL, it may be necessary to open the communication ports on your BOX on the server side and / or on the client side, this part that can be a little tricky is left entirely at your expense.

SIMPLE TEST OF OPERATION

To simply test the SpySound application, simply install the client and server on the same computer: you must hear the sounds of the microphone of the same computer.

MODE HIDDEN
|
| |
|
The HIDDEN operating mode is the discreet mode of the server part installed on the computer you want to spy on. A specific link has been created in the menu to launch this mode. This discrete mode, when a license has been entered, does not display the presentation image of the software and does not include the application icon in the taskbar. Its installation (server part) is therefore more difficult to spot: only the process exists in the task manager! Note: To automatically launch the server in HIDDEN mode when the computer starts, it is necessary to copy this link into the computer's startup menu. The user is advised to rename this link for even more discretion.

This software uses a library available in 32-bit version only! So it only works for 32-bit versions of JAVA. Note that it is possible to install the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of JAVA on the same computer (64-bit). The user must then make sure that the software runs under the 32-bit JAVA version, otherwise it will not work. It is advisable to run all programs in 32-bit JAVA version to avoid any compatibility problems.

On some operating systems, the program installer does not automatically create the shortcut to launch the program, so it must be created manually. In addition, the -t parameter introduces a delay in starting the program: -t=0.75 corresponds to a delay of 45 seconds, -t=0.5 corresponds to a delay of 30 seconds, -t=0.25 corresponds to 15 seconds.
